2021…We can all agree this year continued to be… different. In the midst of it all, LAWI has grown to new heights within our projects and the business. Below is a project that stood out. Check out our latest reel to see the full year recap in a glance! To ME when one can execute traditional design you’ve “made it”. I’ve long been intimidated by this type of design, but this year as a team we conquered fears!
2021 has presented us with alot of challenges. The supply chain has impacted every business globally, but especially the furniture industry. There’s not one website I go to that this isn’t highlighted. (refer to image below) *Rolls eyes
When hiring a designer your intent behind the decision was to hire the professionals to what you couldn’t or didn’t want to. You MUST trust the process and whom you hired. It’s easy to go to a mainstream store (e.g., Rooms to Go, Ashley Furniture, etc…) & purchase, but what you’re not getting is the individuality and uniqueness that comes with a designer. Each piece of the presented design was chosen with purpose to reflect the individuals we’re designing for. BUT also that nosey neighbor can’t say their space looks and feels the same! I say all this to say, in the new year we will continue to design with intent and not wavier from it. We will continue to navigate the effects of the pandemic to the best of our abilities, and we challenge you to be intentional in your design decisions.
