Our Ancestors Wildest Dreams

Oh the dreams they must have had! We are kicking off Black History Month with images from our inaugural company dinner.

It’s because of these people I get to wake up each morning and design for a living!!! From your event to your interior design project this is what I and the LAWI team gets to do. I wanted to do this at the end of year like other companies, but was unable to. BUT that’s a message in itself! We aren’t like other companies and we had ours right on time. It was better at the beginning of the year anyway to set this year’s tone and thank the individuals who make up the LAWI team.

I wanted Kyrtondra, to shoot the images. She tells a story with her images. I can hear and see the person as if I was in that moment again. Glad on today, the first day of black history month, I get to share some.

I prayed for an Extraordinary Life! LA Weddings & Interiors is just getting started. I have visions that knocks my own socks off and hope you all stay around for the journey. If not anything else I want to be proof to that designer who thought she couldn’t. The one who didn’t fit the normal “standards” to be a designer. You can, I can, and we will!

I was very intentional of the vendors. I wanted my client, friend, and DOPE Chef, Trent J, to cook our meal. I know he thrives in intimate settings and I love his cooking.
