From High School Dreams to Today…

From Broadcast Dreams to Design Realities: A Full Circle Moment

Back in high school, I was part of the Broadcast Academy, where my classmates and I were in charge of the daily news segment. By my senior year, we ended with a music video project—and in that moment, I just knew that’s what I wanted to do with my life. Little did I know, my journey would take quite a few unexpected turns before getting here. Fun fact: before I found my true love in design, I actually started my college degree in Communications at Lamar University. Public speaking was my absolute favorite class! LOL—hard to believe when I look at how my story has evolved.

But you know what? I now realize that nothing is by accident. Every detour, every twist, it’s all part of a bigger picture. And this week, I got to experience a full-circle moment as I stepped in front of the camera once again—this time for a fun segment blending two of my greatest passions: interiors and events. Wink, wink.

Since you’re on the newsletter, you’re getting the inside scoop first! 🎉 Tune in tomorrow at 12:30 PM on Fox 26 for Chatting with Chelsea, where I’ll be sharing tips on how to create romance in your home—plus a few insider ideas from your favorite designer and event planner.

Once you've caught the segment, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Come back to this email and drop me a line.

I hope this is just the first of many more TV moments to come—and I can’t wait to see you all on the screen. 🌟
